The Birlas have jointly promoted education and have started Management schools to promote excellence in industries. They are associated with about 25 schools and also institutions of art and culture all over India catering to the needs of about 50,000 children, right from KG to Management Degree. In addition to this, they have educational institutions in all their (70 / 80) Industrial plants all over the world, where they provide free education. Now this pioneering group has crossed the national boundaries for a strong continued foothold in international academics through Birla Public School, Doha, Qatar. With 'Enlightenment through Education' as the motto, the school aims to bring about the total integrated development of the body and the mind, to instill right values, sound morals and a firm belief in truth, to nurture creativity, to enable conceptual understanding and analytical ability, to inculcate social awareness, responsibility and compassion for others and to successfully equip the students to meet the challenges in a competitive world.
